Our Faith
Faith is important to us. Through faith, we are connected to God. Through faith we are able to become a Child of the King, receiving blessings from Christ. Through faith, we are made right with Christ (saved), through baptism, we are obedient to God and are committed to living for Jesus.
Our Mission
We exist to connect people to Christ and to each other.
Our Values
We value family! We value priorities. Your relationship with God comes first. Your family second. The church comes next. We want to strengthen your relationship with Jesus. We want to help you improve your family life and keep Christ the center of your family. We want you to be able to serve in the church and to grow with us.
Our Doctrine
1. Our founder is Christ. Matthew 16:18 2. We exalt Christ as the only head of the church. Colossians 1:18 3. We have no creed but Christ and bind no name on our members but Christ. Acts 11:26, 1 Peter 4:16 4. We accept the Bible as its only rule for faith and practice. 1 Peter 4:11 5. Our aim is to recapture the mission, doctrine, organization, and practice of the church as established by Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 2:37-42 6. We are not a denomination, nor a group of denominations. 7. Our destiny...eternal glory with Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a church that spreads the love of Christ into each neighborhood in Terre Haute. We are located in 12 points, a historic neighborhood that needs Jesus. We hope to make Jesus known to the folks of 12 points as well as the surrounding neighborhoods. We hope to engage all people into some type of ministry utilizing their gifts for the Lord. We also hope that all folks will be connected to a small group, a Sunday school class, or a Bible study.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to share the Gospel. Our purpose is to let you know that Jesus loves you, you are important to God and God wants a relationship with you. Everything we do, needs to honor God. In fact, we have five purposes, here they are... Worship - We celebrate God's prescence Ministry - We spread God's love through service Fellowship - We enjoy being together Growth - We grow closer to Christ through discipleship Outreach (Evangelism) - We connect Jesus with the lives of folks in our world |
